VEGAN

The Green Sunflower logo is awarded to products that do not contain any animal ingredients and are not tested on animals. The logo is issued by the Vegan Society, a British non-profit organisation established to promote a vegan philosophy and way of life. Products must meet the standards set out in the Vegan Animal-Free Standards.

The organisation aims for veganism to be widely recognised and respected, with the aim of ending animal suffering, preventing the destruction of nature and returning to authentic harmonious values. Cosmetic and drugstore products bearing this label must not contain any animal ingredients and are also prohibited from being tested on animals at any stage of production. http://www.vegansociety.com/
