NATRUE

Natrue, the international charity also known as True Friends of Natural and Organic Cosmetics, provides assurance of high quality natural and organic cosmetics products through its logo. It guarantees the highest standards, as products with this certification must be at least 75% natural.

Natrue focuses not only on the composition of the products themselves, but also on their transparency. The first step that every applicant for this certificate must go through is the submission of documentation. Products with the Natrue label are required to provide a clear and understandable INCI composition, detailed information on the production process, the provenance of the individual raw materials and ingredients, as well as an indication of the percentage of natural ingredients the product contains. Checks on these requirements are carried out not only on paper but also during production.

All ingredients used in the production process must be of natural origin or of organic quality. The processing of raw materials and the production process itself must be environmentally friendly. It is therefore evident that products with the Natrue label do not contain artificial fragrances, dyes, preservatives or genetically modified raw materials. Neither the final product nor its ingredients have been tested on animals. The Natrue certificate is only granted for a period of two years, after which it must be checked again.
