Beauty Without Cruelty South Africa (BWC SA) is working to bring about changes in South Africa in relation to the testing of cosmetic products on animals and the use of animals that are subjected to severe experimentation and subsequently killed. Modern technological procedures and new non-animal testing methods are now widely available and, in addition, are more reliable, more effective and less expensive than animal testing.

"Beauty Without Cruelty South Africa is an animal rights organisation whose main objective is to educate and inform the public about animal abuse, exploitation and suffering. It also seeks to offer alternatives that are humane and do not cause suffering to animals.
