CARBON NEUTRAL COMPANY
The CarbonNeutral label is a certificate awarded to companies that actively minimize carbon dioxide emissions in an effort to mitigate the growth of global warming. Carbon neutrality can be achieved by balancing CO2 emissions by absorbing them beyond normal natural processes or by reducing carbon emissions through changes in energy sources (such as the use of renewable energy) and industrial practices. The Carbon Neutral Company certifies not only companies, but also products and services worldwide. To be certified, companies must meet the exacting standards and procedures of the CarbonNeutral Protocol. This protocol is regularly reviewed by a global advisory committee of leading scientists, environmental experts and business leaders.
Companies with the "CO2 Neutral" label contribute to some of the 17 global Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations. These goals are designed to protect the planet from climate change and create a safer, better and fairer world for all, and are expected to be met by 2030. These goals include health, quality of life and education, gender equality, drinking water and sanitation, energy access and cleanliness, fair work and economic growth, climate action and living off the land. These are the goals that the Eliah Sahil brand supports.
