Laundry Gel with Mint and Lemon

100% Natural Liquid Laundry Gel for Colored Fabrics by Sonett is suitable for temperatures from 30 to 60 °C and for all colored textiles, including cotton, linen, hemp, and microfiber such as fleece, softshell, Gore-tex, and also for all textile blends.

The main active ingredient is pure plant soap from organic sunflower or canola oil, which is easily and quickly biodegradable in nature.

Laundry gel contains a pleasant blend of organic essential oils from laurel, mint, bitter orange, lemongrass, pine, and rhododendron, providing laundry with a pleasant scent. Washing at 20-60 °C. Suitable for all textiles from cotton, linen, hemp, and textile blends. Not suitable for wool and silk.

Usage:

Dosage: for 4.5 kg of laundry. For hand washing: 40 ml per 5l of water.

Machine washing: soft water: 40-80 ml; medium-hard water: 50-90 ml; hard water: 80-120 ml.

The special energy-saving method of saponification, the use of oils and essential oils from organic farming, and the favorable price-to-laundry amount ratio for a liquid detergent are excellent features of this product.

Origin and Properties of Individual Components:

Soap, sugar surfactant, and coconut oil derivatives in this liquid laundry detergent mutually strengthen and complement each other. In the production of soap, canola oil from organic farming is saponified with the help of potassium lye by a special process without external heat supply. Soap, as an active washing substance, uniquely combines all the essential properties for the washing process: wetting, dissolving, and carrying dirt. In this function, soap is enhanced by sugar surfactants and coconut oil derivatives, which are obtained from purely plant raw materials of sugar, starch, and coconut fat through chemical transformations with the help of acids. At the same time, this combination removes the disadvantage of soap, which is the formation of calcium soap that can settle on laundry with incorrect softener dosing. Alcohol, obtained by fermenting plant starches, helps keep the detergent in liquid form, allowing a high concentration of active cleaning substance.

Biodegradability:

Plant oil soap has the unique property compared to all other cleaning substances that, immediately after use, it combines with the calcium contained in wastewater into calcium soap, thereby neutralizing its surface effect on aquatic organisms (primary degradation). Calcium soap is then 100% broken down by microorganisms into carbon dioxide and water (secondary degradation). In the production process of sugar surfactants and coconut oil derivatives, parts are obtained from plant raw materials of starch, sugar, and fat, which remain fully retained in their natural structure. Therefore, it is simple for microorganisms to fully degrade these surfactants. Soap, sugar surfactants, and coconut oil derivatives are considered easily biodegradable by the OECD.

Note: Below 10 °C, the product changes and may thicken and become cloudy, which disappears with warmth or slight shaking.
