Olive Laundry Gel for Wool, Silk, and Delicate Fibers, suitable for hand washing and machine washing at lower temperatures up to 40°C.

Usage:

Dosage:

Machine Washing: for 4.5 kg of laundry. Dispense into the dispenser – Do NOT POUR the Laundry Gel DIRECTLY ONTO THE LAUNDRY! Soft and medium-hard water: 60 ml; hard and very hard water: 90 ml.

Hand Washing: 10-30ml per 5l of water.

Product Features:

High-quality pressed olive oil is processed into soap in this product, offering excellent cleaning, caring, and refatting effects on wool and silk textiles. With the help of a sugar surfactant, a gentle soap-based detergent is created; this detergent is easy to use even with hard water and retains all positive properties.

Origin and Properties of Individual Ingredients:

OLIVE SOAP:

The fruits, from which olive oil is obtained through mechanical processes such as pressing and centrifugation, come from the olive groves of the Mediterranean regions of Italy, Spain, and Greece. This soapified oil forms the main component of the Olive Laundry Detergent for wool and silk. Olive oil is the best oil raw material for a gentle soap with a refatting effect. Its balanced fatty acid composition, its healing, harmonizing effect on the heart and circulation, and the remarkable development of the olive tree in a seven-year cycle show a special relationship of this oil to humans.

RAPESEED OIL SOAP:

Rapeseed oil, saponified with potassium hydroxide, serves to enhance the cleaning ability. Rapeseed, along with flax and sunflower, is among the few oilseeds grown in our mild Central European climate for oil production, also in organic quality. ETHANOL: obtained by fermenting starchy plants such as corn and potatoes. Ethanol helps keep the soap in a liquid state and simultaneously improves the detergent's ability to dissolve fats.

SUGAR SURFACTANT:

Sugar, starch, and coconut fat are the raw materials for obtaining the used sugar surfactant. The proportion of sugar surfactant is adjusted to the soap content in the detergent so that it serves to keep the calcium soap formed in hard water in fine dispersion and prevents it from settling on the laundry.

Biodegradability:

Soap from vegetable oils has the excellent property that it combines with calcium, always present in wastewater, to form calcium soap immediately after use. This neutralizes the active surface effect attacking living organisms within a few hours (primary degradation). Calcium soap is then 100% broken down by microorganisms into carbon dioxide and water (secondary degradation).

Ethanol can be mixed with water without restrictions and therefore reintegrates into the natural cycle within a few hours. The process of producing sugar surfactants involves obtaining parts from vegetable raw materials of starch, sugar, and fat, which, however, remain fully preserved in their natural structure. It is therefore easy for microorganisms to quickly and completely break down these surfactants.

Note: Below temperatures of 10°C, the product changes and becomes somewhat thicker and cloudy, which disappears when warmed or gently shaken.
