Soap Nuts are a purely plant-based laundry detergent that allows you to wash cost-effectively, gently, yet efficiently. They are suitable for all types of laundry, including the most delicate materials and functional sports textiles. They naturally soften laundry, eliminating the need for fabric softeners.

Usage:

Soap Nuts represent a completely natural alternative to conventional laundry detergents. They are ideal for gentle yet effective washing and cleaning.

Recommended for:

• Washing in automatic washing machines for all kinds of laundry, including very delicate materials such as wool or silk,
• Washing functional sports clothing,
• Washing colored laundry, where using soap nuts does not lead to color fading,
• Use without fabric softeners, as soap nuts naturally soften laundry,
• Clothing for individuals with sensitive skin since they leave no chemical residues in the fabrics.

For washing colored laundry in a washing machine:

Place the appropriate number of nuts (see dosage in the parameters) into the fabric bag found in each package, tie it, and add it with the laundry into the washing machine drum. There is no need to use a water softener, fabric softener, or laundry rinse, as the saponin from soap nuts softens the water.

For washing white laundry in a washing machine:

The procedure is the same as for colored laundry. However, since soap nuts do not contain bleaching and brightening agents that are added to conventional detergents, we recommend adding a bleaching powder and stain remover like Puer to the wash.

For washing heavily soiled laundry:

Soak heavily soiled laundry in a bucket or basin with the hottest water possible (depending on the type of laundry) the night before washing, and dissolve 1-2 tablespoons of Puer stain remover powder in it. In the morning, pour out the water—the dirt will dissolve before washing, and the laundry can then be easily washed even with such a gentle detergent as soap nuts. Remove individual stains from the laundry with soap made from olive oil, for example. Proceed as with colored laundry.

For hand washing:

Place the nuts (see dosage in the parameters) in a sealable container with warm water and let them steep overnight. Pour the prepared extract into a container or sink with the washing solution and wash. The extract from the soap nut shells lasts for a day at room temperature and about three days in the refrigerator.
