Usage:

Dishwasher Gel is designed for washing dishes in all types of home dishwashers. It is easy to use:

- Standard washing:

• Use 25 ml of gel (about 3/4 of the bottle cap) in the dishwasher's compartment.

- For heavily soiled dishes:

• Use a full bottle cap and add a tablespoon of Descaler (citric acid) to remove limescale and enhance performance. Adding Bika (sodium bicarbonate) will help eliminate any odor from the dishwasher.

The new gel contains a chelating agent that improves its effects:

• This substance, 85% of natural origin, has been chemically modified for maximum effectiveness.
• It helps soften water and removes ions Ca2+, Mg2+, Cu2+, Fe2+, Fe3+, Mn2+, and Zn2+ - improving the appearance, taste, smell, and color of water.
• Replaces the less effective EDDS agent and is fully degradable.

Currently, we know of no more abundant and eco-friendly source of natural plant saponin than soapnut husks. Trees bearing these nuts grow wild in Indian forests. Therefore, no plantations are created for their cultivation that would burden the landscape. The nuts are harvested by local women, providing them with livelihood and helping them gain independence. We are regularly in contact with suppliers, and our cooperation supports the sustainable development of the locality. Soapnuts are transported to Europe by ship. The boxes they arrive in are used for further processing.

What water temperature should be set?

If you are using dishwasher products that do not contain enzymes – like those from TIERRA VERDE – set the temperature to at least 40 °C. The same applies as with washing: the ecological impact of increasing the temperature compared to using synthetic and toxic agents is considered significantly more acceptable. We have studied the financial costs of increasing temperature for washing machines, where increasing the temperature by 10 °C means an additional cost of 70 cents per wash.

What causes white residue on dishes and how to remove it?

The residue is caused by mineral deposits from the water. It is advisable to use Dishwasher Rinse Aid, regularly replenish Dishwasher Salt, and clean the filter and the entire dishwasher. If the white residue remains on the dishes, it indicates that the water is too hard, and calcium and magnesium residues are settling on the dishes and internal parts of the dishwasher. In this case, it is necessary to correctly set the water hardness value on the appliance. To determine the water hardness value and subsequently accurately set the dishwasher (according to the water hardness table in the dishwasher manual), you can use a Water Hardness Test Strip or consult the local water company or provider.
