Usage:

Dishwasher Gel is intended for washing dishes in all types of household dishwashers. Its use is simple:

- Standard washing:

• Dispense 25 ml of gel (about 3/4 cap of the bottle) into the dishwasher dispenser.

- For heavily soiled dishes:

• Use a full cap of the bottle and add a tablespoon of Descaler (citric acid) to remove limescale and enhance effectiveness. Adding Bika (baking soda) helps eliminate any dishwasher odors.

The new gel contains a chelating agent that improves its performance:

• This substance, 85% of natural origin, has been further chemically modified for maximum effectiveness.
• It helps soften water and removes ions Ca2+, Mg2+, Cu2+, Fe2+, Fe3+, Mn2+, and Zn2+ - improving the appearance, taste, smell, and color of water.
• Replaces the less effective EDDS agent and is fully degradable.

You might wonder Is detergent from soap nuts eco-friendly and ethical?

Currently, we do not know of a more abundant and eco-friendlier source of natural plant saponin than the shells of soap nuts. The trees bearing these nuts grow wild in Indian forests. Therefore, no plantations that could burden the landscape are created for their cultivation. Local women harvest the nuts, providing them with livelihood and helping them gain independence. We are in regular contact with suppliers, and our collaboration supports the sustainable development of the locality. We transport soap nuts to Europe by ship. The boxes they arrive in are used for further processing.

What water temperature should be set?

If you use dishwasher products that do not contain enzymes – like those from TIERRA VERDE – set the temperature to at least 40 °C. The same applies to washing: the ecological impact of increasing the temperature compared to using synthetic and toxic agents is considered significantly more acceptable. We have investigated the financial costs of increasing the temperature for a washing machine, where increasing the temperature by 10 °C means an additional cost of 70 cents per wash.

What causes the white film on dishes and how to get rid of it?

The film is caused by mineral deposits from the water. It is advisable to use Dishwasher Rinse Aid, regularly refill Regenerating Salt for Dishwashers, and clean the filter and the entire dishwasher. If the white film remains on the dishes, it indicates that the water is too hard, and calcium and magnesium residues settle on the dishes and internal parts of the dishwasher. In that case, it is necessary to correctly set the water hardness value on the appliance. To determine the water hardness value and subsequently accurately set the dishwasher (according to the water hardness table in the dishwasher manual), you can use a Water Hardness Test Strip or consult the local water company or provider.
