Origin and properties of individual components:

Soap as an active washing agent is obtained by simply boiling fats with lye. Each fat base has somewhat different washing properties due to its various origins. Coconut fat as a base for soap production has particularly good cleaning ability even in harder water. Soap from palm oil provides essential hardness and durability. Both soaps in combination form the optimal base for the bile substance to fully develop its fat-dissolving capability. Bile is added to the finished soap.

Biodegradability:

Soap immediately loses its surface tension upon use, in direct reaction with calcium always present in wastewater (primary degradation), and thus does not affect living organisms. Calcium soap is subsequently 100% broken down into carbon dioxide and water (secondary degradation). Bovine bile, as a purely natural product, is completely degraded within a few days and returned to the natural cycle.

Note:

Soap is mildly alkaline when used. The green chlorophyll coloring of soap pieces may lighten due to exposure to light. However, this does not negatively affect the stain-dissolving capability of bile soap. The brownish color that then appears is the natural color of bile.
