Coconut oil comes from a Fair Trade project in the Dominican Republic.

Olive oil is supplied by cooperatives in Spain, Italy, and Greece.

Biodegradation:

Soap loses its surface tension-reducing properties immediately after use, through direct reaction with the calcium always present in wastewater (primary degradation). The calcium soap is then 100% broken down into carbon dioxide and water (secondary degradation). Sugar surfactants and coconut oil derivatives are obtained through chemical conversion using acids from purely plant-based raw materials and completely retain their natural structure. Therefore, microorganisms can easily decompose them completely. Ethanol is returned to the natural cycle within a few hours.
