Effective Dishwasher Detergent for dishwashing. This detergent effectively removes greasy stains and dried food residues. Not suitable for silver, lead crystal, and hand-painted porcelain.

Usage:

Dosage:

15 - 30 ml per washing cycle. Add the product into the appropriate dispenser. Follow the instructions of your dishwasher's manufacturer.

Dishwasher Water Softener should be set to 8 °dH (German degrees) above the local water hardness. For example, if your water hardness is 16 °dH (2.86 mmol/l), you should set the device to 24 °dH (4.29 mmol/l).

Warning:

In case of an integrated electronic water softener, it is not suitable to use Sonett ecological detergents.

Product Features:

This product does not use aggressive bleaching agents containing chlorine, phosphates, synthetic silver protection agents, enzymes, etc. Yet, this cleaning agent excels at handling heavy soiling.

Origin and properties of individual ingredients:

Silicates are obtained by melting sand with soda and are capable of saponifying and solubilizing grease on dishes due to their alkalinity. Stubborn food residues are softened and released by these silicates. Soda, produced from table salt and lime, disperses grease into fine droplets, enhancing the silicates’ ability to dissolve fat. Citrate, derived from the fermentation of sugar production by-products such as molasses, is added to the dishwasher detergent to bind calcium in the washing water and protect the dishwasher from deposits, as many dishwashers do not sufficiently soften water despite having a built-in ion exchanger (water softening device).

Biological Degradability:

Soap immediately loses its surface tension-reducing properties (primary degradation) upon use, reacting with calcium always present in wastewater. Calcium soap is then 100% decomposed into carbon dioxide and water (secondary degradation). Sugar surfactant and coconut oil derivatives are obtained through chemical conversion using acids from purely vegetable raw materials and completely retain their natural structure. Thus, microorganisms can easily break them down completely. Ethanol is returned to the natural cycle within a few hours.

For optimal results, regularly use Sonett rinse aid and regenerating salt for dishwashers.
