Effective Dishwasher Detergent. Efficiently removes greasy stains and dried food residues. Not suitable for silver, lead crystal, and hand-painted porcelain.

Usage:

Dosage:

15 - 30 ml per wash cycle. Pour the product into the designated dispenser. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for your dishwasher.

The dishwasher's water softener should be set to 8 °dH (German degrees) above the local water hardness. For example, if your water hardness is 16 °dH (2.86 mmol/l), you should set the device to 24 °dH (4.29 mmol/l).

Note: In case of a built-in electronic water softener, it is not suitable to use Sonett ecological detergents.

Product Highlights:

This product does not use aggressive bleaching agents containing chlorine, phosphates, synthetic silver protection agents, enzymes, etc. Yet, this cleaning agent excels at tackling heavy soiling.

Origin and Properties of Individual Ingredients:

Silicates are obtained by melting sand with soda and can transform fat on dishes into soap due to their alkalinity, ensuring its water solubility. Food residues are moistened and released by these silicates.

Soda, produced from table salt and lime, disperses fat into fine droplets, enhancing the silicates' fat-dissolving ability. Citrate, obtained through fermentation of by-products like molasses from sugar production, is added to the dishwasher detergent to bind calcium in the wash water and protect the dishwasher from deposits. It is known that many dishwashers do not sufficiently soften water despite having a built-in ion exchanger (water softener).

Biological Degradability:

Soap immediately loses its surface tension-reducing properties (primary degradation) upon use, reacting directly with calcium always present in wastewater. Calcium soap is subsequently 100% degraded into carbon dioxide and water (secondary degradation). Sugar surfactant and coconut oil derivatives are derived through chemical conversion using acids from raw materials of purely plant origin and completely retain their natural structure. This makes it easy for microorganisms to completely break them down. Ethanol is returned to the natural cycle within a few hours.

Note: For optimal effectiveness, regularly use rinse aid and regenerating salt for SONETT dishwashers.

The entire packaging is recyclable.
