For bleaching white linen, for removing stains in white and colorfast linen, for brightening yellowed and dull linen. Clear from 50°. Suitable for white and coloured cotton, linen, hemp and mixed fabrics. Removes stains from fruit, red wine, tea, coffee, grass, blood etc.

Dosage:

Machine wash: for 4.5kg of laundry at 50° and above, add 60ml/60g Sonett Bleach to washing powder during the main wash cycle.

Soak heavily soiled laundry: dissolve 30ml of bleach in approx 3l of warm water and leave soiled laundry to soak overnight. Then wash as normal.

Dishwashing: add 15ml/15g of bleach to the dishwasher powder dispenser during the main wash cycle. Removes coffee and tea stains on dishes.

Product Features

Each bleach cycle causes the laundry to lose its color. By dispensing the bleach separately, the bleaching effect only occurs when it is absolutely necessary to remove stains and to bleach. This sodium percarbonate bleach is an eco-friendly alternative to bleaching laundry in the sun.

Origin and properties of individual ingredients

Sodium percarbonate is a compound of hydrogen peroxide with sodium carbonate (soda). Under the action of heat, hydrogen peroxide is split off again from 50 °C and decomposes into water and active oxygen. At increasing temperatures this reaction intensifies, so that the bleaching effect in the washing machine is optimum at 95 °C. The releasing oxygen is particularly effective on organic stains such as grass stains, fruit stains, etc,

Biological degradation

Sodium percarbonate already degrades itself into mineral soda, water and oxygen during washing and bleaching, leaving the washing machine in a state that does not require any further degradation. That is, the bleaching process is also a degradation process.

Caution

Keep bleach well sealed, in a cool, dry place, out of the reach of children. Irritating to eyes and skin, harmful if swallowed. In case of eye contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water and seek medical attention. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention and show packaging.
