Just like Ritha, it is an effective natural shampoo.

• Shikakai acts against scalp itching and dandruff.
• It strengthens hair roots and stimulates hair growth.
• Shikakai has a low pH value and does not disrupt the natural protective layer of the scalp.
• It also coats the hair with a protective layer, preventing split ends.

Usage:

Powder shampoo for hair.

• Mix about 2-3 tablespoons of powder (adjust the amount according to the length and thickness of your hair; one heaped tablespoon is sufficient for hair up to chin length) with warm water into a smooth paste.
• First, wash your hair with water as usual. Then apply the paste to the scalp and spread it evenly throughout the hair length.
• Massage similarly to shampoo and let it sit for a while.
• For more intense effects, leave the herbs on the hair longer, but even a quick rinse provides great results.
• Finally, rinse the hair thoroughly until the water runs clear (remember that the plant powder may slightly color the water).
• Shikakai can be excellently combined with Amla conditioner.

Hair treatment:

20-30 g of powder for short hair
40-60 g of powder for shoulder-length hair
70-100 g of powder for long hair

Mix the optimal amount of powder with hot water in a ratio of 1:3 (1 part powder to 3 parts water). Add water or powder as needed to achieve a consistency similar to yogurt or ketchup.

• Apply the mixture immediately after preparation to washed and slightly dried hair, which can be damp or dry, but always clean.
• The mixture should not be too hot to avoid burning the scalp, but a warmer mixture will have a better effect on the hair. Let the treatment sit for ideally 60 minutes.
• After this time, rinse the mixture thoroughly with warm water until the draining water is completely clear.
• Repeat the procedure as needed, optimally at least once a month.
