Product description Purity Vision Bio Shea Butter 200 ml

Bio Shea Butter is suitable for all skin types, including the sensitive skin of babies and adults. It has exceptional moisturizing properties, making it excellent for dry skin on knees, elbows, or hands. It is particularly useful for eczema, chapped lips, and sunburn.

Thanks to its high content of vitamins A, D, E, and F, it deeply nourishes the skin. Shea Butter helps activate collagen production, making it an invaluable ally in fighting premature skin aging. Other benefits of the butter include regenerative effects, strengthening the skin's natural elasticity, smoothing fine wrinkles, regulating sebum production, protecting the skin from harmful effects of sun exposure, and its versatile usage.

Bio Shea Butter also finds its place in your kitchen. Traditionally used in African cuisine, it is employed in the making of pralines, chocolates, and other sweets. It has a creamy consistency and a pleasant nutty flavor. Due to its high content of unsaturated fatty acids, it is a suitable alternative fat in plant-based cooking. It is ideal for preparing both sweet and savory dishes.

ORIGIN:

Unrefined Bio Shea Butter is unique because it comes from the rare variety of the African shea tree (Vitellaria Nilotica), also known as the karité or shea tree. The shea tree grows in the savannah belt of East Africa and, compared to the commonly available shea tree from West Africa (Vitellaria Paradoxa), contains much more beneficial substances. Karité bears fruit once a year, after 15 years of its life. Its fruits mature in a short period from April to June. Under the shell of the fruits is a kernel with high nutritional value and vitamins, from which shea butter is obtained. The cultivation of karité trees and the production of shea butter are designed to positively affect the natural biorhythms of the local fauna and flora and not burden the environment.

Usage:

FOR SKIN:

Pampering skin and body: Bio Shea Butter melts at body temperature, allowing it to be easily and quickly absorbed into the skin. Thanks to its creamy consistency and pleasant nutty scent, you can use it for relaxing massages or gently massaging a pregnant belly. Its unique moisturizing properties help keep the skin softer and calmer. Therefore, the butter is excellent as a protective cream or soothing post-shave emulsion. It also provides effective relief for a baby's diaper rash. For its caring properties, you'll love it as a nourishing lip balm. In the summer, you'll appreciate it as a regenerating care after sunbathing. The butter is also a great helper in winter months, intensively caring for pets' paws, which are more prone to cracking in winter. The valuable properties make shea butter an effective aid for cracked and calloused skin on heels. For velvety smooth skin, apply the butter to damp skin.

TIP: Add a teaspoon of Bio Shea Butter and a few drops of Bio Rose Water PURITY VISION® to your bath. The fragrant bath will leave your skin beautifully radiant and smooth to the touch.

IN THE KITCHEN:

Cooking: Shea butter can be wonderfully used in place of cream or olive oil as a base for sauces. It beautifully enhances the flavor of pasta, rice, potatoes, or vegetables. By adding garlic and green onion, you can create a simple and tasty sauce that pairs well with a range of dishes.

Baking: When baking chocolate cookies, Christmas sweets, or festive cakes, you can fully rely on shea butter, which effortlessly replaces traditional butter, oil, and cocoa butter. Use it in the same quantity as the selected recipe. If you're not entirely sure about the subtle nutty flavor of shea butter, then replace only part of the traditional butter.

Frying: Shea butter pairs wonderfully with sweet recipes such as pancakes, crepes, and waffles. The preparation method is the same as with traditional butter. First, melt the shea butter over low heat, then fry your favorite treats. Don't be afraid to try savory dishes as well. Try lightly sautéed vegetables or savory French toast.

TIP: Add butter to bread or toast instead of traditional butter as a vegan and healthy alternative. By adding honey or jam, you create a culinary delight.
