Unrefined Organic Shea Butter is unique because it comes from the rare variety of the African shea tree (Vitellaria Nilotica), also known as the karité or shea tree. The shea tree grows in the savanna belt of East Africa and, compared to the commonly available shea tree from West Africa (Vitellaria Paradoxa), contains much more beneficial substances. Karité bears fruit once a year, only after 15 years of life. Its fruits ripen in a short period from April to June. Under the shell of the fruits is a seed with high nutritional value and vitamins, from which we obtain shea butter. The cultivation of karité trees and the production of shea butter are designed to positively influence the natural biorhythms of local fauna and flora and not burden the environment.

Use on Skin:

Pampering the skin and body: Organic Shea Butter melts at body temperature, making it easily and quickly absorbed into the skin. Thanks to its creamy consistency and pleasant nutty scent, you can use it for relaxing massages or gentle massaging of a pregnant belly. Its unique moisturizing properties help keep the skin softer and calmer. Therefore, the butter is excellent as a protective cream or soothing emulsion after shaving. It also provides effective relief for a baby's diaper rash. You will love it for its caring properties as a nourishing lip balm. In summer, you will appreciate it as a regenerating care after sunbathing. The butter is also a great helper in winter months. It intensely cares for pet paws, which are more prone to cracking in winter. The valuable properties make shea butter an effective helper for cracked and calloused skin on heels. Baking: When baking chocolate cookies, Christmas sweets, or holiday cakes, you can fully rely on shea butter, which easily replaces regular butter, oil, and cocoa butter. Use it in the same quantity as in the chosen recipe. If you are not entirely sure about the subtle nutty flavor of shea butter, then replace only part of the regular butter.

Frying: Shea butter pairs excellently with sweet recipes like pancakes, crepes, and waffles. The preparation process is the same as with regular butter. First, melt the shea butter over low heat and then fry your favorite treats on it. Do not fear using it for savory dishes either. Try lightly sautéed vegetables or savory French toast.
