Usage:

Add 3-5 drops of essential oil to the water in an aroma lamp or the desired number of drops into a diffuser or inhaler stick. It can also be used for direct inhalation. Do not use undiluted on the skin, protect eyes, and keep away from children.

Essential oils are complex mixtures of many substances, primarily terpenes. Being natural does not automatically mean they are safe. Every ultra-concentrated substance has potentially hazardous properties and should be handled accordingly.

One drop of essential oil contains the fragrance and active substances from approximately 1 kg of the plant. Therefore, they are used only in tiny amounts. Most essential oils, for instance, must not come into contact with mucous membranes, and some can even cause skin damage (this doesn't apply to all types). Thus, for every use, it is necessary to carefully dilute each essential oil in a carrier vegetable oil (such as apricot, olive, sunflower, almond, jojoba, and possibly others).

Essential oils are not automatically safe for the environment either. If you were to spill a bottle of essential oil into a stream with trout, you would undoubtedly cause them severe complications.
