Product description Blossombs Seed Bombs - Medium Gift Set (9 pcs) - Original and Practical Gift in One

Do you love gifting presents that truly matter—both for you and nature?

Then these 100% natural seed bombs are a perfect hit, or rather, a colorful one.

In this luxurious gift set, the Dutch company Blossombs has packed 9 clay balls with seeds of organic wild meadow flowers, such as poppies, cornflowers, or clovers.

Simply place them in soft soil, and once they bloom, they will bring a smile to your face and provide a refuge and food for inquisitive bees, bumblebees, or butterfly proboscises.

  • It's undoubtedly an original and practical gift in one.
  • They're made from 100% natural ingredients.
  • Once bloomed, they provide a natural haven full of food for bees, bumblebees, butterflies, and other insects vital to the ecosystem.
  • You can have a small meadow even in an apartment—on the balcony or by the window.
  • Seed bombs can also grow in a flower pot.
  • They bring joy.
  • When the first green plant, which you have grown yourself, starts peeping out of the soil, it's simply a wonderful feeling. :)

In the Netherlands, the charming founders Daisy de Bruijn and Geerten van Eldik at Blossombs came up with a brilliant idea—to develop 100% natural colorful balls made of clay, wildflower seeds, natural dye, and nutrients. These are seed bombs that, upon germination and blooming, will accommodate and feed bees, bumblebees, butterflies, and other insects that are so important for the ecosystem. And moreover—those who plant, don't misbehave. Will you join? :)

Usage:

  • You can plant the seed bomb at any time of the year, but the flowers will typically sprout from March to October.
  • The flowers in Blossombs bombs are annuals. If you plant the bomb from March to September, it will bloom the same year.
  • If you plant it out of season, you can look forward to a harvest next spring, provided the seeds aren't eaten by birds or insects.
  • The clay balls contain an organic mix of wildflower seeds, which can bloom at different times.
  • Some flowers will appear in spring, others only in autumn. Nature will surprise you in its own way. :)

Where to plant the seed bomb?

  • Anywhere, ideally outside in the garden, around the house, or where meadow flowers would bring joy.
  • You can also plant the ball in a flower pot on the balcony or by the window.
  • Keep in mind that seeds love plenty of light, space, and nutritious soil.
  • Do not sow Blossombs in protected nature reserves.

How to plant the seed bomb?

  • You can place up to 4 balls per 1 m² of outdoor soil.
  • If you want a meadow in a pot, 1 to 3 balls are sufficient for a 20 cm diameter.
  • For a long balcony planter, 3 to 6 balls lined up side by side per meter is just right.
  • For more lush growth, you can use more, but note that flowers may compete and not all will grow or bloom equally.
  • Gently press the bomb into soft soil, not too much—just enough to remain visible on the surface, and water it or wait for rain.
  • After a few days, the balls will crack as the first green plants begin to emerge.
  • After +/- 8 weeks (and around April, when it's warm enough), the first meadow flowers will start to appear.
