Usage:

Menstrual cups are a healthy, affordable, and eco-friendly alternative to pads and tampons. Their use is easy, comfortable, and reliable. They last for many years, so you won't have to spend money on pads or tampons, and you won't produce waste.

It's best to try inserting the cup before your period starts to find the optimal position. If you're not yet confident in the correct insertion, use a pantyliner for assurance.

The ideal way to insert the cup is in a squatting position. If you insert it before menstruation, it's good to moisten the cup. Insertion outside the menstrual period is more difficult because the vaginal mucosa is not as engorged. But don't be discouraged!

Hold the cup between your thumb and index finger and insert it into the vagina. There's no need to push. Once the cup is fully inside the vagina, release it and it will unfold. Insertion is no more complicated than inserting a tampon, so there's nothing to worry about.

To ensure you've inserted the cup correctly, grab it by the stem and gently pull it. If it doesn't easily come out, the insertion was correct, and the desired vacuum was created. If it does come out easily, it probably hasn't unfolded properly.

When removing, break the vacuum by pressing the bottom of the cup. Then it can be removed without any problems.

Empty the cup approximately as often as you would change a tampon. If you have no experience, it's recommended to empty it every 4 hours or so. You'll soon find out that you can leave it in longer. Empty it no later than after 12 hours. The cup can also be used overnight.

If you have a heavy flow, it might leak during the first days. In such cases, we recommend using a pad as a supplement.
