The essential oil from medicinal rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is one of the most potent. It is obtained by distilling the fragrant stems and leaves of the well-known Mediterranean shrub, which can grow up to two meters in its native habitat.

Usage:

Dosage for adults:

For an aroma lamp or diffuser, add 9 drops of oil to fragrance approximately 100 m² of space.
Add no more than 3 drops to 10 ml of vegetable oil or cream for body cosmetics and massage oils.
Use lower dosages for pregnant women, sensitive individuals, and older children. For children under 2 years, we recommend using oils only for inhalation and in small amounts.

Tip from the aromatherapist: This essential oil can be used for inhalations in blends with more oils, but for adults, do not use more than double the amount. The oil evaporates quickly, so add more frequently to aroma lamps and diffusers. It’s delightful!

How to use: In aromatherapy, this oil is considered very safe. There are no known contraindications, and it’s suitable for children. However, generally, it’s advisable to avoid using essential oils on the skin of infants (under 2 years).

The only risk is using oxidized oil, which can irritate the skin. When applying to a specific area of the body, use only fresh oil, no older than 1 year. Store the oil in a cool place away from direct sunlight in a well-sealed bottle. Avoid opening the bottle too often, as the oil reacts with air exposure and can oxidize.

The BIO Orange Essential Oil should be used within 2 years of purchase. After this period, it’s recommended not to use the oil therapeutically, but you can still utilize it in making household cleaning products, such as for cleaning kitchen counters.
