Tips and important information for coloring:

1. The color effectively covers gray hair from the first use, but keep in mind that the resulting shade on gray hair may be lighter than on pigmented hair strands. For an idea of the resulting shade, you can check the color palette in the product gallery.

2. For denser coverage of gray or white hair, two applications of the color 24 hours apart are recommended.

3. Since this is a purely natural color, changing the natural shade of your hair may require multiple repetitions. The color does not penetrate deeply into the hair but creates a thin layer around it. The more layers, the more intense the result. For example, to achieve a burgundy shade on dark brown hair, a red tint may appear first, which intensifies with each subsequent application.

4. Keep in mind that the color will develop and darken over several days post-application. The final shade should be noticeable after 3 days.

5. If you have previously used chemical colors, it may take some time to achieve the desired shade with the Radico color. Nature will cope with chemistry, but it requires patience. You might try 2-3 successive applications with 24-hour intervals.

6. Always remember that the resulting shade also depends on your original hair color.

Application:

For optimal consistency, mix the coloring powder with hot water in a ratio of 1:3, meaning 1 part powder to 3 parts water. If the mixture is too thick or too thin, you can add water or powder to achieve a consistency resembling yogurt or ketchup. Apply the color to clean, towel-dried hair, starting from the roots and working to the ends. Use the color immediately after mixing. The mixture's temperature should be pleasantly warm, but not hot, to avoid burning the scalp. Apply a thicker layer of color on gray hair. After application, cover the hair with the included cap and for better thermal effect, cover it with a towel or winter cap. To enhance the effect, you can use heat during the processing time, such as from a hairdryer.

Leave the color on for at least 60 minutes. For a darker shade or effective gray coverage, it is advisable to leave the color on for a longer time, ideally 2 to 3 hours. Since it is a plant-based product, there is no risk of hair damage. After the set time, rinse the color with warm water until the water runs clear. Do not use shampoo or other cleaning agents during rinsing, because the color itself provides sufficient care for the hair. Then dry and style your hair as usual. The color typically lasts 2-3 weeks, and its durability may increase with regular use.
