Saxifraga granulata (Saxifraga granulata)
Harm score: 1 (Natural substances)
Saxifraga granulata, also known as Agaru, belongs to the Saxifragaceae family. This plant species is found throughout Europe and also in Asia, the Caucasus and North Africa. In the Czech Republic, the grain crape is widespread from lowlands to mountain areas, mostly in wet places in the countryside, in meadows, along rivers and lakes, or on rocks. It is particularly notable for its small flowers with white or slightly pink petals and yellow stamens that form a showy inflorescence.
In human hands, grain feldspar is used in a variety of products, often in homeopathy and folk medicine. Traditionally, it is used for inflammation of the urinary tract and kidneys, as a diuretic. In addition to its medicinal properties, lomicamom granular appears in many cosmetic products, especially those designed to treat the skin. Its extract is added to creams, soaps and hair products as it is known to have beneficial effects on human skin. In addition, the grain cracker is also grown as an ornamental plant in gardens and parks, where it is appreciated for its inconspicuous but beautiful inflorescence and its ability to grow on different types of substrate. However, it is also used under this name in herbal syrups, molasses and other alternative medicine products.
