Phosphorus is a natural chemical element whose uses are very diverse. If you come across names like fish oil or fish oil, it is actually phosphorus. This element plays an important role in living organisms and is essential for the nutrition of plants and animals, including humans. Phosphorus is found in our bodies, specifically in our bones, but also in DNA, ATP or phospholipids in our cells. It is thus indirectly involved in the production of our energy and in the transmission of genetic information.

One of its primary uses is in agriculture, where it serves as one of the key ingredients in fertilizers, aiding plant growth and development. It is also used in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily as a dietary supplement where it promotes bone and dental health. In the food industry, phosphorus is a component of many foods, mainly in the form of phosphates. These are added to foods, for example as acidity regulators, but also as stabilisers or emulsifiers. Phosphorus is therefore an integral part of our daily lives, whether directly or indirectly. Without this element, life as we know it would be impossible.
