These flowers then add a subtle sweetness and pleasant aroma to teas. The higher content of tannins and essential oils in white horehound can suppress inflammatory conditions and also help in the treatment of eczema. Various ointments, creams or teas are also made from white horehound, especially for outdoor use on the skin.
