Preparing the dye: In a bowl, mix the plant powder with warm water (around 70 degrees) until a smooth mass resembling ketchup is formed. Adjust the amount of water so that the mass has the right consistency, neither too runny nor too thick. If you have short hair, you may not need to use the entire package of powder. Adjust the amount to the length and thickness of your hair.

Applying the dye: Apply the hot mixture to washed and damp hair strand by strand from roots to ends. If you're only coloring roots, apply the dye only to them, not the entire length of the hair. Cover your hair with foil and then a dry towel or scarf to keep them warm, allowing the dye to work more effectively. Leave it on for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
