This 100% natural concentrated shampoo with conditioner from Kvitok is suitable for all hair types. However, its effects are especially appreciated by those troubled by dandruff. Thanks to carefully selected ingredients, it regulates the production of sebum and helps prevent dandruff formation. The included moringa powder supports blood circulation in the scalp and acts antibacterially.

We note that in many cases, dandruff issues are linked to hormonal changes, insufficient rinsing of shampoos or styling products, or a lack of vitamins. In all these cases, the shampoo provides supportive and quality care.

This shampoo also contains conditioning ingredients, but they do not form a full-fledged conditioning system. Therefore, for increased hair protection, we recommend using the shampoo in conjunction with a conditioner. Solid shampoo Moringa is especially intended for issues with dandruff.

Dandruff arises from various causes. It is most commonly caused by yeast that belongs to the normal skin flora and usually does not cause any problems. The shedding of dead skin cells happens all over our body, and it is completely normal. These cells are not visible to the naked eye. However, an overgrowth of this yeast causes faster cell turnover on the scalp, clumping into larger groups visible not only on clothing but also in hair.

The scalp often itches, and scratching only creates more dandruff, irritation, redness, and even infection. In the case of psoriasis or seborrheic dermatitis, it is not due to yeast overgrowth. Other causes include insufficient rinsing of cosmetic products from the skin, aggressive degreasing shampoo ingredients, or aggressive behavior towards the skin (combing, hot air, and other adverse external factors). In such cases, changing the shampoo and eliminating bad habits helps.

However, if the problem is, for example, hormonal imbalance, vitamin deficiency (especially vitamin B), or neurological disorders, shampoos, regardless of the brand, do not address these issues. Solid shampoos can completely replace classic liquid shampoos, are milder, and do not contain aggressive surfactants that dry and irritate the skin, such as SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), SLES (sodium laureth sulfate), silicones, or synthetic fragrances and dyes.

These shampoos do not contain water and therefore do not require traditional preservatives. They are fully and easily biodegradable and do not burden the environment. They contain natural ingredients like chamomile hydrolate, shea butter, essential oils, or herbal extracts. These are so-called syndets – shampoos based on mild plant-derived surfactants from coconut oil (SCI and SLSA), not soap-based shampoos, which require an acidic rinse.

Thanks to mild surfactants, they effectively remove dirt and grease from hair and the scalp. They create a rich lather suitable for use in both soft and hard water. We have enriched the shampoos with a natural conditioning ingredient – inulin, which smooths and retains moisture in the hair and scalp.

The new formulation also includes a plant keratin complex – a mix of corn, wheat, and soy protein. This is a plant-based vegan alternative to the classic keratin commonly used in hair cosmetics, replacing the original rice protein in the formula. Hydrolyzed proteins have smaller molecules that penetrate the hair better (specifically the cuticle). In our bodies, they are key components often referred to as NMF (natural moisturizing factor). These compounds are responsible for maintaining skin moisture and elasticity by attracting and retaining water.

Thanks to the combination of plant proteins, this complex improves hair hydration, strengthens structure, protects against drying, adds softness and shine, prevents breakage and splitting. It provides protection against adverse external factors, helps seal hair during initial splitting and cuticle damage, and increases their strength and flexibility. It visibly improves hair quality, making them less tangled and more hydrated. All shampoos also contain panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), which improves hair quality, increases shine, and reduces hair breakage. Glycerin, shea butter – prevent drying of the scalp.

Usage:

The shampoo can be used multiple times. Simply rub it against wet hair, lather with fingers, and rinse (as typically done with liquid shampoo). You can also create lather by rubbing the shampoo in your hands, applying it to wet hair, and lathering with fingers.

The shampoo does not contain water and is concentrated, so a small amount is sufficient to create a rich lather. If you cannot lather the shampoo sufficiently in your hair, it is likely that your hair is not wet enough. Try wetting it more. An acidic rinse is unnecessary after use, as it is not a soap-based shampoo. A 25 g shampoo lasts approximately 15 uses, while a 50 g shampoo lasts approximately 35 uses (depending on hair length and density).

Store in a dry place, ideally in a soap dish. Small pieces remaining after use can be dissolved in water and used for hair washing. If many accumulate, they can be heated and combined together.
