Product description Yuuki Economic Menstrual Cup - Small Classic - Cup Only
The smaller menstrual cup Yuuki in a firmer version made from the highest quality medical-grade silicone. The Economic version is a budget-friendly alternative to the Yuuki classic cup. It is provided without instructions, packaging, or a disinfecting container.
The small cup is suitable for women and girls under 28 years old who have not yet given birth naturally, and for women with light to normal menstrual flow. (More information on selecting the right size can be found in the detailed description below.)
Menstrual cups are a healthy, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly alternative to pads and tampons. They are easy to use, comfortable, and reliable. They will last for many years, saving you money on pads and tampons and reducing waste.
The smaller menstrual cup is suitable for:
- women and girls under 25 years old,
- women and girls who have not yet given birth naturally,
- women with light to normal menstrual flow.
Usage:
- It is best to try inserting the cup before your period begins to find the optimal placement.
- If you are not yet confident in the correct insertion, use a pantyliner for security.
- It is best to insert the cup while squatting.
- If you are inserting it before your period starts, it is good to moisten the cup.
- Insertion outside of your period is more difficult as the vaginal lining is not as engorged.
- Don't be discouraged! :-)
- Grasp the cup between your thumb and index finger and insert it into the vagina.
- There is no need to push.
- Once the cup is fully inside the vagina, you can release it, and it will open fully.
- Insertion is no more complicated than inserting a tampon, so there is nothing to fear.
To ensure the cup is inserted correctly, hold onto the stem and try to pull it slightly. If it doesn't move, the insertion was correct, and a desired vacuum has formed. If it comes out easily, it likely hasn't opened properly. To remove it, break the vacuum by squeezing the bottom of the cup.
The cup will then come out without any issues. Empty the cup roughly as often as you would change a tampon. If you have no experience, we recommend emptying it after about 4 hours. You will soon find that you can leave it in longer. Empty it at most after 12 hours. You can keep the cup in overnight. If you have a heavy flow, the cup may leak in the first few days. In such cases, use a pad as an additional backup.
