Innovative Glycerine Technology

Trew lip balms are extremely functional as they are made using innovative glycerine technology. What is it? Thanks to the inverse emulsion, a significant amount of glycerin in the fat phase can be captured during production. Known as a powerful humectant, glycerin has the ability to retain water and swell, allowing the lips to stay hydrated and prevent insensitive water loss (which occurs due to the continuous evaporation of water from the lips throughout the day) in a long-lasting and effective way. If the product contains more than 3% glycerin, it tends to be sticky and unpleasant to use. In our formulation, encapsulation technology has made it possible to achieve glycerin concentrations as high as 15% without making the balms sticky and unpleasant to use.

Recycled and recyclable packaging: The packaging of all lip balms is made from milk bottles that contain more than 70% PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) material. The packaging is 100% recyclable as it consists of a single mono-material from the tube to the applicator and cap.
