The floss is made from plant-based polyamide, which you may better know as nylon. Unfortunately, it's not recyclable in our area. Until that changes, please dispose of the used floss in the general waste. You might wonder how the floss is eco-friendly if it ends up in the trash. It's simple – it decomposes in a significantly shorter time than floss made from conventional plastic. Thanks to its plant origin, the floss is almost CO2 neutral. The spool is made from sugarcane bioplastic, which can be recycled in the yellow container.
