MACERATION:

Bio Calendula Oil is produced using the traditional method of slow maceration, where calendula flowers (calendula officinalis) are immersed for several weeks in cold-pressed organic sunflower, jojoba, and argan oil. The soothing power and softening properties of the herb are thus transferred into the macerate. Calendula doesn't have a strong aroma; the resulting product smells like sunflower oil, which is appreciated by sensitive individuals and those who prefer subtle scents.
