White meadowsweet, also known as white meadowsweet or Spirea ciliata, is a plant native to North America. It is a shrub that grows up to two metres tall. It has beautiful flowers, both alone and arranged in panicles, which are white and bloom from June to August. The flowers are particularly popular for their fragrant aroma, which can be reminiscent of almonds. This plant is resistant to drought, disease and also pests, making it a popular garden plant.

Its aromatic flowers are often used in perfumery, where they add a delicate and sweet scent to many perfumes and colognes. It can also be found in soaps and other cosmetic products.
