Vitania snodar, also known as Ashwagandha, Ashvaganda, Indian Winter Cherry or Indian Ginseng, is an important plant in traditional Indian medicine - Ayurveda, where it has been used for thousands of years. It is native to the dry, central regions of India, but has also grown in parts of North Africa and the Middle East. It is considered an adaptogen, a medicinal herb that helps the body cope better with stress and manage physical exertion. Its roots and berries are used to make medicinal preparations.
Vitania snodaria products can be found in a number of forms. Ashwagandha root powder, often mixed with other herbs, is used to make teas or coffee. This powder can also be found in tablets or capsules, which are often included in a variety of dietary supplements designed, for example, to support immunity and vitality, reduce fatigue and exhaustion, calm and promote sleep.
