Violet, also known as pansy or violet pansy, is a small plant of the violet family. This plant is quite widespread in the Czech Republic and can be found in various types of habitats. However, it is most often found in fields, fields and hillsides. It can be seen in most places close to nature, but it can also survive in more demanding urban conditions.
The violet is characterised by its small, light blue-purple flowers, which are characteristic of all violas. However, the flowers of the pansy are slightly smaller than those of the other species. Their size is around 1-2 cm. The main flowering period is spring and summer. Pansy is mainly used in folk medicine, but it is also used in cosmetology and gastronomy. It is mainly used in the form of teas, ointments and oil macerates, which are used to strengthen immunity, for skin problems or as natural antibiotics. In gastronomy, the violet can be found in various sweet desserts, salads and drinks.
