Phytosteryl Macadamiate is often used in cosmetics as an emollient, a substance that softens and smooths the skin. Its other advantage is its ability to improve the distribution of pigments in cosmetic products, which is particularly important for products such as make-ups and various types of creams. Due to its high fat content, Phytosteryl Macadamiate is also used in hair care products, where it helps to improve hair hydration and restore hair structure. By being derived from natural sources, it is also suitable for the production of cosmetics labelled as 'natural' or 'organic'.
