PEG-100 Stearate, also known as polyethylene glycol stearate, is a white crystalline substance widely used in the cosmetic industry. This substance is of synthetic origin and is mainly added to cosmetic products because of its extraordinary emulsifying properties. Emulsifiers in products help to combine ingredients that would otherwise not mix with each other, such as water and oil.
