Magnesium Aluminium Silicate, also known as Magnesium Aluminium Silicate, Aluminium Magnesium Silicate, Silicic acid, Aluminosilicic acid or Magnesium salt, is a mineral that forms an ingredient in many cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. It is a silicate mineral of aluminium origin with a light magnesium content. This material is widely accepted in modified form for use in natural and conventional cosmetic products as well as for food applications.

In the pharmaceutical industry, Magnesium Aluminium Silicate is widely used as a filler in tablets. Its effective lubricating properties make it very important in tablet manufacturing.
