Leptadenia Reticulata is a plant that belongs to the milkweed family (Asclepiadaceae), which is cultivated in several tropical and subtropical regions and is mainly used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine. This liana is also known as Jivanti, which in Sanskrit means 'she who gives life'. In Hindi it is called Dodi and in Kannada it is known as Hamsapadi. In India, its native region, various medicinal preparations are made from it.
Products made from Leptadenia Reticulata are considered as tonics that promote physical well-being and vitality.
