Ethyl Hexanoate, also known as Ethylhexanoate, is an organic compound belonging to the class of esters. It has a molecular weight of 145.2 g/mol and its structure results from the reaction of hexanoic acid and the alcohol ethanol. In its pure form, this substance is a colourless liquid with a pleasant, pineapple-like odour.
