C13-15 Alkane is used in the cosmetic industry primarily for its emulsifying properties, or as an ingredient in creams, shampoos or makeup. These substances are characterised in particular by the fact that they make it possible to reduce or completely eliminate the use of petroleum derivatives, which are considered harmful to our skin and scalp and whose use the cosmetics industry is thus trying to avoid.
