Strawberry oil is extracted from the seeds of the strawberry (not the flesh) by cold pressing. This high quality, unrefined oil retains its natural strawberry aroma and subtle golden color through gentle pressing.

It is a great choice for aging, very dry or damaged or sensitive skin. It is one of the so-called dry oils, so it is also suitable for oily skin.

This oil is particularly valued for the presence of ellagic acid - a phenolic antioxidant commonly found in phytobucks of plants. Research shows that ellagic acid can help the skin from minimizing inflammation after UV exposure to whitening the skin and eliminating pigmentation.
