The sun, cold, combing, towel drying, coloring, ironing, blow-drying, hard water, and even a polluted environment... All of these damage our hair, making it thinner. Thinning of the hair also occurs naturally. Therefore, it is crucial to protect it from adverse external influences and prevent this process as much as possible.

Hair Mask contains extracts from the fruits of Caesalpinia and sunflower sprouts, which effectively protect against free radicals from polluted air and physical stress. Their effectiveness has also been proven in protecting against thermal and chemical damage, increasing hair resistance, prolonging shine, and color durability for dyed hair. For enhanced regeneration, protection, and support of hair resistance, the mask is supplemented with a complex of plant ceramides, chia seed extract, and hydrolyzed plant proteins.

The mask facilitates detangling, acts antistatically, reduces "frizziness," is environmentally friendly, and completely biodegradable.

Anti-pollution Restorative Hair Mask is intended for: all hair types, especially dry, damaged, stressed, and colored hair, curly hair. Masks serve to prevent hair damage. However, they cannot repair already split hair, as the cells that make up the visible part of the hair are dead.

The combination of individual ingredients creates a conditioning system that is an alternative to commonly used conditioning ingredients such as BTMS (Behentrimonium Methosulfate – also found in natural conditioners and solid shampoos with conditioner), Behentrimonium Chloride, Quarternium, and Polyquarternium compounds, which are synthetic, usually non-biodegradable, accumulate in the water ecosystem, and are toxic to aquatic organisms.

Another group of ingredients that we avoid in our products are silicones. You can recognize them by the endings -cone, -thicone, -siloxane, -silane… When using silicones, a film forms on the hair that is not water-soluble (or only partially soluble), making it difficult to wash out of the hair, leading to layering and buildup, which excessively burdens the hair, weakens it, and increases breakage. They prevent moisture absorption into the hair, drying it out.

The mask therefore contains plant-based ingredients considered as silicone substitutes, without causing buildup and burdening the hair. The key active ingredient that ensures protection against adverse external influences is the clinically tested active ingredient KeraGuard.

KeraGuard– an extract from the fruits of Caesalpinia – Tara and sunflower sprouts, protects hair from heat, urban pollution, and UV stress, repairs chemically treated hair, prevents damage from chemical hair coloring and fading, restores hair resistance.

It demonstrates antioxidant properties comparable to vitamin C and is effective in protecting hair from pollutants, as proven by clinical studies. Radical capturing properties were evaluated using the Radical Hair Protection Method (RHP), which is based on measuring the Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) spectrum of melanin in human hair. UV irradiation of hair creates free radicals, which are captured by the melanin polymer, leading to a reorganization of its electronic structure that emits a different melanin signal. The increase in signal is directly proportional to the dose of UV irradiation; thus, oxidative damage to the hair. Results showed that KeraGuard significantly increased hair protection against UV radiation and demonstrated antioxidant protection even after washing.

The mask also contains other ingredients that support the action of these active substances.

Complex of Plant Ceramides helps restore the lipid barrier by supplementing lipids into the skin structure. Ceramides restore moisture, strengthen the skin's natural barrier, and help protect it from damage. They also reduce skin sensitivity and improve protection against external influences. They are also important for skin hydration and firmness, eliminating wrinkle formation and skin deformation, preventing skin thinning and weakening.

Brassicyl Isoleucinate Esylate (and) Brassica Alcohol – a natural cationic surfactant free of palm oil and certified by Ecocert for use in natural hair care products. It is produced by fermenting plant materials (rice and sugar cane). It has an antistatic, smoothing, and conditioning effect, preventing frizz.

Muru Muru Butter penetrates deep into the hair and improves its elasticity and strength, thereby protecting against hair damage, thinning, and preventing split ends. Broccoli Oil is a great plant-based alternative to silicones. It smooths the hair surface, thereby improving detangling, increasing shine, and simultaneously reducing frizz and flyaways of dry hair.

Cetearyl Alcohol Emulsifying Wax is 100% plant-based, produced from coconut oil. It is a so-called fatty alcohol, which is an excellent emollient (softener). Regarding its use in hair cosmetics, it is known for its softening properties and facilitates hair detangling. Coco Glucoside and Glyceryl Oleate – this blend of nonionic surfactant and fatty ester is an excellent re-fatting agent (supplementing lipids into the hair structure).

Heptyl Undecylenate – a derivative of castor oil, it is considered a plant-based replacement for silicones and mineral oils. It is used not only in hair cosmetics but also in facial and body creams or decorative cosmetics. It increases hair shine, re-fats, but at the same time is light and does not leave a greasy film.

Isoamyl Laurate and Isoamyl Cocoate are plant-based emollients derived from sugar beet and coconut oil. They add shine and reduce friction during combing of dry and wet hair, thus protecting it from damage and allowing easier detangling. Natural Vitamin E is an effective antioxidant. Essential oils give the conditioner a fresh gentle scent.

Usage:

Apply a small amount of the mask to shampooed and "squeezed" hair (along the entire length or just the lower length) and gently massage to lather. Leave on for 5-10 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.
