The image of modern Mumbai, full of contrasts. Ben Gorham, founder and creative director of Byredo, presents a memory of his childhood in Mumbai and the transformation it has undergone to the present day, expressed through fragrance in Mumbai Noise. He creates a vividly intense mosaic that depicts the city characterized by modern influences and its fascinating cultural heritage with an almost inexhaustible wealth of facets. In collaboration with photo artist Asish Shah, images were created that, like Mumbai Noise, capture the spirit of the city. Their interdisciplinary collaboration allows fragrance and photography to merge into a complex, vibrant image of a city full of dreams and realities.
