Product description Blossombs Seed Bombs - Mini Gift Set - Party (4 pcs) - Gift a Flower Differently
Do you like giving gifts that have real meaning? Then 100% natural seed bombs are a perfect hit, or rather a colorful one. :) The charming gift set from Blossombs in the Netherlands contains 4 clay balls with seeds of BIO wild meadow flowers such as poppy, daisy, yarrow, cornflower, or clover. Simply place them in soft soil, and after blooming, they will bring a smile to your face and provide shelter and food for curious bees, bumblebees, or even butterfly proboscises.
- It's definitely an original and practical gift in one.
- They are made from 100% natural ingredients.
- After blooming, they provide a natural haven full of food for bees, bumblebees, butterflies, and other insects that are important for the ecosystem.
- You can have a small meadow even in an apartment – on a balcony or by the window.
- Seed bombs can also grow in a flowerpot.
- They bring joy.
- When the first green plant you have grown yourself starts to peek out from the soil, it's just a wonderful feeling. :)
In the Dutch company Blossombs, the charming founders Daisy de Bruijn and Geerten van Eldik came up with a brilliant idea – to create 100% natural colorful balls made from clay, seeds of wild meadow flowers, natural dyes, and nutrients. These seed bombs, upon germination and blooming, accommodate and feed bees, bumblebees, butterflies, and other insects that are so crucial for the ecosystem. And moreover – those who plant do not misbehave. Will you join?
Usage:
- You can plant a seed bomb anytime during the year, but flowers sprout from around March to October.
- The flowers in Blossombs bombs are annuals. If you plant the bomb from March to September, it will bloom the same year.
- If you plant it off-season, you can look forward to the harvest next spring, provided the seeds are not eaten by birds or insects.
- The clay balls contain an organic mix of wildflower seeds that can bloom at different times.
- Some flowers may appear in spring, others in autumn. Nature will surprise you in its own way :)
Where to plant the seed bomb?
- Anywhere, ideally outdoors in the garden, around the house, or where meadow flowers would bring joy.
- You can also plant the ball in a flowerpot on a balcony or by the window.
- Keep in mind that seeds like plenty of light, space, and nutritious soil.
- Do not plant Blossombs in protected nature reserves.
How to plant the seed bomb?
- You can place up to 4 balls per 1 m² of outdoor soil.
- If you want a meadow in a pot, 1 to 3 balls are enough for a 20 cm diameter.
- For a long balcony flowerpot, 3 to 6 balls lined up in a row are perfect for 1 m.
- For a denser growth, you can use more, just know that the flowers may compete and not all will grow or bloom equally.
- Gently press the bomb into the soft soil, not too deep – just so it remains visible on the surface, and water it or wait for rain.
- After a few days, the balls will crack open as the first green plants start to emerge.
- After approximately 8 weeks (and from around April, when it's warm enough), the first meadow flowers will start to appear.
